Stephen Jablonski Architects is a creative firm located in the western Massachusetts city of Springfield. We specialize in working with historic properties, museums, churches and public buildings. On the following pages you will find examples of our work. Some are restorations of fine old buildings, some are additions, and some are adaptive reuse of historic buildings. With each project there is attention to detail, appropriate use of materials, imaginative color schemes and an overall care for creating a wonderful place to be in.

Our mission is to design architectural space that inspires people, provides a creative and productive workplace, and enhances community through respecting and maintaining links with the past. Over the past two decades we have built a portfolio of projects that demonstrate our commitment to quality environments for the college campus, the worship community, public parks, historical buildings and libraries.

Traditional elements such as bricks, mortar, wood trim, natural light, ventilation, scale and proportion are combined in new and thoughtful ways. Each project is pursued diligently and with vigor so that our clients can achieve the best value. Situations that call for architectural detail challenge our creative abilities. Preservation and adaptive reuse of historically significant structures are a favorite type of project.
